My vision for the ISSF

Protect our Olympic future. Empower our Federations. Put athletes first. A modern, financially strong and democratic ISSF, working together to grow shooting sport worldwide.

My vision for the ISSF

Protect our Olympic future. Empower our Federations. Put athletes first. A modern, financially strong and democratic ISSF, working together to grow shooting sport worldwide.

Four years of change. The next chapter starts together.

When I became ISSF President in 2022, I made three commitments: restore unity, rebuild trust and protect the Olympic future of shooting sport.

Together, we have made real progress.

We restored constructive relations with the International Olympic Committee and reinforced our place within the Olympic Movement.

We created new commercial partnerships, established the ISSF Development Fund and began directing more resources towards our Member Federations.

We strengthened integrity and anti-doping structures, modernised our competitions and invested in education through the ISSF Academy.

We also gave athletes greater recognition and a stronger voice, bringing back the World Cup Final, introducing the Athlete of the Year award and expanding opportunities for professional development.

These achievements belong to our entire shooting sport community. They are the result of cooperation between National Federations, athletes, officials, partners and the ISSF leadership.

But our work is far from finished.

The Olympic Movement is changing. Competition for attention, audiences and resources is growing. Our sport must continue to demonstrate its value, strengthen its international appeal and attract new generations.

We need a financially sustainable Federation, stronger broadcast partnerships and competitions that inspire both athletes and spectators.

We must continue investing in coaches, officials and young talent, while ensuring that athletes have a meaningful voice in the decisions that shape their future.

And we must protect the democratic culture we have built — one based on transparency, integrity, respect and shared responsibility.

I am seeking a second term because I believe in the direction we have taken and the future we can build together.

This is not about starting again. It is about building on what works, completing what we have started and taking our sport further.

With your support, we can make the ISSF stronger, more modern and better prepared for the challenges ahead.

Together, we changed our Federation. Now, we can secure its future.

Our journey: 2022–2030

From restoring confidence to building lasting success.

This is not about starting again, but about continuing to evolve. Consolidating what we have built and looking ahead to the next phase, together.

A journey that began in 2022 and has grown over time, with a clear direction: to strengthen our sport and prepare it for the challenges of the future.

2026–2030

Six priorities for the future

  • 01

    Financial Strength

From no structured sponsorship programme in 2022 to more than 13 commercial partners today, we have created new sources of income and launched the ISSF Development Fund. Our next goal is to turn this progress into lasting financial strength and greater support for every Member Federation.

  • 02

    Our Olympic Future

We rebuilt trust with the IOC and secured shooting sport's place at Los Angeles 2028 and Brisbane 2032. Now we must strengthen our visibility, grow our audiences and protect our Olympic future for generations to come.

  • 03

    Trusted Competitions

We have modernised competition rules, improved long-term planning and strengthened event organisation. The next step is to make ISSF competitions even more professional, accessible and attractive to athletes, broadcasters and fans.

  • 04

    Athletes First

We have strengthened the athlete voice, restored the World Cup Final and introduced the Athlete of the Year award. Our commitment continues: better opportunities, greater recognition and meaningful support throughout and beyond an athlete's career.

  • 05

    A Modern Federation

We have strengthened the ISSF team, invested in technology and modernised the way our Federation operates. Our goal is a professional, efficient organisation that delivers better services to Member Federations and remains strong for generations.

  • 06

    Democratic Governance

We have strengthened transparency, established independent integrity structures and encouraged greater participation in decision-making. Our next commitment is to deepen this democratic culture, ensuring that every National Federation has a voice and every decision serves the sport.

01

Financial Strength

Building financial independence. Investing in our Federations.

A strong Federation needs a strong financial foundation.

In 2022, the ISSF had no structured international sponsorship programme. Today, more than 13 commercial partners support our activities and contribute to the growth of shooting sport.

These partnerships bring more than revenue. They create opportunities, strengthen our international profile and help us invest directly in our Member Federations through the ISSF Development Fund.

Our ambition is to build a sustainable financial model that supports long-term development, reduces dependence on individuals and gives the ISSF the independence to plan confidently for the future.

More partners. More opportunities. More investment in our sport.

Together, let's finish what we started

Four years ago, we chose a new direction. We restored trust, strengthened our Federation and opened new opportunities for shooting sport. Now we have the chance to build on that progress. With unity, stability and a shared vision, we can secure the future of shooting sport — together.
