The 259th meeting in the Hall of Honor

Last May 4 was an important day for the national sport. In the afternoon indeed, the National Council of CONI had his 259th meeting. After an informal meeting with all Federations Presidents, the works started in the Honor Hall with a really tight agenda. In addition to the activities of the Sports National Federations, of the Associated Sporting Disciplines and of the Institutions of Sporting Promotion, there will be on the table also the approval of the CONI Balance 2017. There was the Fitav President Luciano Rossi, always in the first line in the institutional activity of our National Olympic Committee, “in addition to much sporting achievements with which Shooting shall contribute to the international prestige of CONI, we’re ready to give our contribute in every place- Rossi commented before the beginning of the works- To my friend Malagò I extend my best wish in his work, I’m sure that he will be able to led the italian sport towards more and more prestigious goals, and that in this moment of great legislative changes linked to our sporting practice we won’t have lack of his support and his closeness”. The aspect concerning the exclusion of some shooting sports from the main international competitions, as the Commonwealth Games and the Mediterranean Games. For as concerns the lasts one, in addition to the exclusion of the double trap, already excluded from the Olympic games, it is very likely that also the skeet will be left out to the next edition planned for the current year at Tarragona. “For our part we will work to take action into the International Federations of Shooting Sports to make our disciplines protected in the appropriate manner.”
